LIFE CYCLES SERIES

Life Cycles is an ongoing series of functional, text-based clocks that explores the relationship between time and human experience. Each piece features a clock face encircled by brief phrases drawn from daily life—mundane actions, personal doubts, and social expectations. These words act as snapshots of routine and reflection, illustrating how we navigate the repetitive cycles that define modern existence.

The work points to how time not only measures our days but also shapes our values and self-perception. By blending humor, critique, and empathy, Life Cycles invites viewers to pause and consider the subtle ways that time, culture, and personal expectation intersect in the ongoing rhythm of being human.

Since 2018, Life Cycles has expanded across four phases, growing into a significant body of over 100 works: Pieces are 6x6x2 inches

Phase One (2018) — 18 pieces

Phase Two (2019) — 27 pieces

Phase Three (2021) — 40 pieces
